Design: This is a Cotton Silk power loom saree from Varanasi, UP. Banarasi Sarees are well known for their heavy brocade, opulent zari embroidery and fine fabrics. This Cotton saree is highlighted by the floral meenakari work done all over using antique zari , including the Pallu and beautifully patterned 4 inch borders. The Pallu is beautifully brocaded with the coloured meenakari work. The blouse piece is plain and of a contrast pink shade and is to be cut from the start of the saree.
