Design: This is a heavily embroidered Katan Silk power loom saree from Varanasi, UP weighing almost a kilo. Banarasi Sarees are well known for their heavy brocade, opulent zari embroidery and fine fabrics. This saree is highlighted by intricate siver and gold zari floral motifs woven all over including the Pallu and beautifully brocaded contrast colour 4 inch borders. The blouse for the saree is woven at the beginning of the saree. It is of a contrast colour to that of the saree.
